Keynote topics

The Journey of Joy

The Journey of Joy invites participants to reconnect with purpose and rediscover joy as a protective factor that supports resilience, emotional regulation, and sustainability. Through humor, storytelling, reflection, and practical renewal strategies, Amy explores how early signs of stress and fatigue can affect the way we show up for ourselves and the families we serve. Participants will identify practical, research-informed ways to restore energy and emotional balance while strengthening their capacity to engage with families with presence, empathy, connection, and hope. This interactive keynote includes reflection, audience participation, and movement.

Kaleidoscope Kids:
Honoring the Rhythm of
Neurodivergent Play

What if divergent play isn't a disruption, but rather a language we haven't learned to listen to yet? Through powerful stories and practical reframes, Kaleidoscope Kids invites early educators to see neurodivergent children through a kaleidoscope lens. Repetitive play, patterns, and sensory rituals can become messages to be honored rather than behaviors to be banished. Drawing on Amy's expertise as a play therapist, early childhood SEL consultant, and neurodivergent author of the award-winning book Every Bunny Can Learn, this keynote challenges participants to trust a child's rhythm, observe before reacting, and transform classrooms through compassion, connection, and joy. The goal is a meaningful shift in perspective: from correcting what looks different to understanding what that difference may be communicating.
